Overview
Monochrome Industrial Microscope CameraVisible to Near-Infrared ImagingThe DP23M 6.4-megapixel digital microscope camera has a spectral response from visible light up to 1000 nm, making it ideal for near-infrared (IR) imaging. The camera is also equipped to provide dependable, high-quality gray scale and infrared microscopy images. |
Speed and Resolution for Industrial Inspection
The camera’s 3.088 × 2.076-megapixel, backside illuminated CMOS sensor delivers sensitivity and resolution, enabling you to capture small, subtle details under challenging lighting conditions or with dimly lit samples.

High Signal-to-Noise Inspection Images
The DP23M camera produces high signal-to-noise ratio images by combining binning mode with Olympus Smart Image Averaging and supports long exposure times up to 25 seconds.
Fast Inspections
The camera offers a live mode frame rate of up to 45 frames per second (fps) in full resolution and up to 60 fps in full HD mode. The 2 × 2 binning mode increases sensitivity and enables a faster, 58 fps frame rate in live mode.
Near-Infrared Imaging
The DP23M camera’s broad spectral response from 400 nm up to 1000 nm makes it ideal for near-IR imaging.

Single Source—Camera, Software, and Hardware from EVIDENT
The DP23M camera is easy to integrate with your microscope using a standard C-mount adapter. A USB 3.1 interface provides high-speed data transfer and power to the camera.
The DP23M camera is fully supported by OLYMPUS Stream™ and PRECiV™ image analysis software, so no matter your application demands, the information is fully collected, analyzed, processed, displayed, and archived.
Applied Technologies
Save Time During Microscope-Based Inspections
Fast Navigation
The Fast Live function maintains the frame rate at all exposures, making fluid sample navigation to find areas of interest and precise focusing easy. Even at long exposure times, images remain clear, so you don’t have to wait for the camera to refresh.
Find the Focus
The customizable Focus Peaking function enables fast, responsive imaging. It highlights all focused areas in the live image, making it simple to acquire high-quality, sharp images.
Details Over a Wide Field of View
With low magnification objectives, the camera’s high resolution and advanced sharpness filter make it possible to see fine details over a wide field of view.
Detailed Images Regardless of Imaging Conditions
The camera supports Olympus Smart Image Averaging (OSIA) active noise reduction technology, enabling you to capture clean and virtually noise-free images. OSIA works in live mode without reducing the frame rate or introducing artifacts and without the need for active sensor cooling. This powerful technology helps you capture your sample’s details regardless of imaging conditions and makes the camera suitable for many applications that traditionally required cooled cameras.
Easy-to-Use Monochrome Digital Camera
The camera is compact and lightweight. Connecting it to your PC is easy using a single USB cord and a standard C-mount adaptor. Seamless integration with OLYMPUS Stream and PRECiV imaging software enables intuitive image capture experienced and inexperienced users alike.
