The DP74 color camera supports advanced functions to capture high-quality images of samples. The camera combines a wide field of view with a diagonal length of 21 mm with full HD image resolution at 60 frames per second (fps). The Global shutter of the DP74's CMOS expose the whole pixel at same time. Therefore, even in moving stage, there is no distortion like rolling shutter CMOS which expose and reads line by line. The result is that users can acquire images of sample quickly and easily. The DP74 camera is optimized for fluorescence imaging with a powerful noise reduction function and a high level of gain sensitivity. With the position navigator, you’ll always know your location in the sample, even without a motorized stage.
High-definition 1920 x 1200-pixel live images can be displayed at 60 fps, enabling clear observation and real-time focusing with no image deterioration. In inspection applications, the DP74 camera renders clear images of microstructures, such as fine patterns on wafers or the surfaces of new materials. When using features such as multiple image alignment (MIA) to acquire panoramic images or extended focus imaging (EFI) to capture an all-in-focus image over multiple Z-levels, the camera’s high frame rate enables users to complete their imaging tasks quickly and efficiently. |

Sample appearance can vary depending on quality of material, surface conditions, or illumination methods. One of a variety of observation methods made possible by the advanced digital technology of DP74, the Live HDR (High Dynamic Range) function, combines several images taken at different exposures to accurately correct brightness differences on the sample surface on-the-fly operation, delivering a more consistently accurate sample rendition. Live HDR provides high-fidelity images that show not only textures but also flaws and defects that were previously undetectable. Glare can also be reduced for more comfortable observation. | |

With the position navigator, users always know where in a sample they’re making their observations. The position navigator automatically creates a map in a separate window, so users can keep track of their observation position, even without a motorized or coded stage. The map is continually updated as you move through the sample, even after changing magnification. An image of the map can be saved along with the observation image, helping eliminate the time and effort required
to locate a previously imaged location in a sample.

A new CMOS drive system, low-noise electronics, and optimized image processing enable users to capture images across a broad range of signal gain corresponding to ISO200-6400 standards. The advanced technologies in the DP74 camera enable the CMOS sensor to capture sample details using multiple observation methods such as reflected light, darkfield, or fluorescence.

The 3-CMOS mode is a function that we’ve adapted our popular 3-CCD mode for use with the DP74 camera’s CMOS sensor. A 2.3-megapixel CMOS is combined with pixel-shifting technology, resulting in a 20.7-megapixel resolution. In addition to conventional 3 x 3 pixel shifting of one color per pixel, the DP74 camera’s 3-CMOS pixel shift mode enables three-color image resolution (RGB) within a single pixel to further enhance resolution.
