STM7-BSW Ver 1.3.3 Installer

■ Outline of software

This program is an installer of the control software STM7-BSW for the measuring microscope STM7. With this installer, you can upgrade STM7-BSW Ver1.1.1/1.1.2/1.2.1/1.3.1/1.3.2 to Ver1.3.3.

※ You can check the product version in “Product version” in the [Help] menu in the application.

Changes

Some restrictions in operations were corrected, and some features were improved. For details, please see Release Notes provided with the download file.

■ Installation procedures

1.Before installation

”OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT” is included in this program. Please read it carefully before downloading the program. If you start downloading, you shall be deemed to have consented to the terms and conditions in “OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT”.

2.Download

1. Select the file to be downloaded in the right area of the page.
2. Press the [Download] button to start downloading.
3. The downloaded file is compressed in ZIP format, so copy it to the desktop of your controller PC and decompress it.

※ You can decompress the compressed file by 1) Select the ZIP file you copied to your desktop, 2) Right-click the file to display the menu and 3) Select [Extract all].

■Operating procedures

1. Disconnect the interface cable of USB which is connected to the license key or the camera from the USB port of controller PC.
2. Uninstall STM7-BSW according to the procedures described in “2. Software Uninstallation” in “1. Setup” in User’s Manual provided with STM7-BSW. In this case, be sure to select “Save adjustment values”.  (※If you do not save them, you need to adjust each setting again.)
3. Restart controller PC, and right-click Setup.exe (Installer) of the downloaded file.
4. Install STM7-BSW according to the procedures in and after Step 3 described in “1. Software Installation” in “1. Setup” in User’s Manual provided with STM7-BSW. In this case, be sure to select “Use last adjustment values”.  (※If you do not use them, you need to adjust each setting again.)
5. Restart controller PC, and connect the interface cable of USB which is connected to the license key or the camera to the USB port of controller PC. Be sure to connect it to the original port.
   (a) After the license key is connected, wait until the red lamp of the license key turns ON.
   (b) When using DP22 or DP27, after you connect the cable, wait until the blue lamp on the front of the camera turns ON.
   ​(c) When using STM7-CU, after you connect the cable, wait until Windows OS shows the popup message indicating that the installation of the camera driver is completed.
6. Double-click the STM7-BSW icon on the desktop to start the application.
